NSV and Life Victory. Two years ago, in the best shape of my life, my health took a nose dive and I got really sick from mold exposure and developed POTS. I went from working out 5 to 6 days a week and being super active to not even being able to walk up my stairs, stand and do dishes, make a bed, etc. When my daughter also started to get sick, we tested for mold and moved into my parents, tossing nearly everything. It was such a difficult time. But we’re about to build a home and I’ve spent the last two years working on our health. Physical therapy, chiropractic care, exercise, etc. I’m so grateful for MIF and Lindsay and Amy. So encouraging, even on the days I had to pause 12 times. I started with postnatal exercises even though I’m 8 years pp. Back to the basics to build up my strength and endurance. And yesterday, we completed a 4 mile difficult hike. Two years ago I wouldn’t have made it through the first 10 min. This hike took us 3 hours and I still felt great. Life circumstances will definitely shift your perspective. Health is no longer a body image thing for me. I’m so grateful to be where I am today!
