Shed 5 Fast Contest

I am confident wearing my TWO-PIECE swimsuit at her baby swim classes, and I cannot WAIT for our family vacation on the beach in Aruba in just a few months. Throughout the 6 weeks I actually dropped to 137lbs a couple times – a weight I don’t remember since college!
It feels so incredible to have a toned body again! I look even better than before I was pregnant. Louisa, my first-born, is turning 1 year old in a few weeks. After she was born, I was pleased to lose the 50 pounds of baby weight pretty quickly (4 months). I had become a new fan of yoga, I was breastfeeding, I also did some cardio, and used nutritional cleansing. I even regained some muscle tone, but not like I knew I could. Not like I really wanted. Not like I had in my college years of teaching aerobics, dancing, and a few pageants. But those days were long gone, right? Well, maybe not!
My first set of Lindsay’s DVD’s came when I found a “steal” at babysteals.com. I was looking to add some variety to my home workout DVD library after about 7 months of repeating the same ones. After just a couple workouts I could see (and especially FEEL) the results from her training. So when Baby Steals came out with more Moms Into Fitness DVD’s, coupled with the Shed 5 Fast contest to win cash and, even better, be in a workout video – something that had been on my long-lost dream list since college – I knew I had to give it a shot.
Positive thinking (as I write this essay on day 1 of week 1) and consistent effort has paid off. I have dropped those last five pounds – from 140 to 135. Even better, I feel strong and full of energy. I love to run around with Louisa and have fun trying to match her energy level! I am confident wearing my TWO-PIECE swimsuit at her baby swim classes, and I cannot WAIT for our family vacation on the beach in Aruba in just a few months. I even wish it would be warm enough in March to celebrate Louisa’s first birthday with a pool party! I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
My pictures don’t show a drastic change, but my increased muscle tone is noticeable especially in the legs, and my tummy is a bit flatter! Everything in my Day 1 “positive thinking” essay came to pass, except the weight itself. But even though my weigh-in shows a slight GAIN in weight (2 lbs), my measurements show that I’ve lost 6 inches from all over my body! I am pleased with this, especially since I know the weight gain is due in part to a large meal last night, and throughout the 6 weeks I actually dropped to 137lbs a couple times – I weight I don’t remember since college! I worked out only to the Mom’s Into Fitness DVD’s, including Shed 5 Fast, and I used them three to six times every week (I got sick twice in this period). And I DO have a room by the pool reserved for my daughter’s 1-year birthday party. Although I doubt it will be warm enough yet here in Atlanta in two weeks to swim outside, I still have my fingers crossed, as I would love to show off my 1-year post-baby body! I still have two more weeks until the party, so I plan to stay on this program until then, and beyond. Thanks, Moms Into Fitness!
