Well, 4 weeks has flown by and I’m feeling really good about the beginning of this fitness journey. I have to say firstly that the 4 weeks did not go uninterrupted. Life happened.
The flu bug hit my household for 10 days and we traveled for 4 days staying in other people houses. I did not get in as many workouts as I would have liked, but that is besides the point. This fitness routine gave my body a longing for exercise. When a few days go by now that I don’t exercise, I start to get antsy and restless, I need to move my body. I have never gotten to a place before where I want to exercise regularly because it makes me feel good and I like what it does for my body. I really feel like I accomplished so much in changing my attitude towards exercise even though my weight didn’t change too much. I lost 1.7 pounds and 3.5 inches from my body. All my jeans are too big and I’m getting a lot of comments on how skinny I look!
The Shed 5 Fast workout was excellent for giving me a great workout in a short amount of time, and I loved that there were 2 workouts to choose from. I also used Lindsay’s Core Metabolic Jumpstart which made my abs burn and started to shrink my waist. I added in some cardio on the Elliptical, and a couple of Zumba classes for variety.
I feel like I’m starting to become more disciplined to exercise. This has been a goal of mine for some time now, and this challenge has given me the boost I needed to make it a priority. Thank you Lindsay for your inspiration, I plan to continue on this journey, I’ll keep you posted on my progress!
