I relied on the Postnatal Bootcamp to help wisk away the pregnancy weight. As soon as this was done, the Shed 5 Fast workout plan aided in toning my muscles. Not only did I drop the 5 pounds, but I have dropped below my pre-pregnancy weight.
When I found out I was pregnant on October 29, 2008, I had no one to share my excitement with. My husband was living in another state. I had to wait 3 very long and agonizing days before I would see him in person to share with him the most blessed news in our life. You see, my husband is a pilot in the US Air Force. He was required to move immediately and I stayed behind to finish my job as a teacher. While frustrating, this is typical of our lifestyle in the military.
Our life consists of frequent moves, loneliness, constant change, and a high level of stress. Yet the pride I feel for my husband significantly trumps all of the trivial obstacles we face. However, as a new mom, I am now apprehensive of now raising our children in this lifestyle while trying to maintain some sense of “normalcy”. My main goal is to provide an extremely stable home-life for my children as we are dictated otherwise by the Air Force.
I cling to one the few things I can control for our family: family values. One key aspect that I strive to keep stable is a healthy living. I want my children to be raised in a home where nutrition is emphasized and an active lifestyle is enjoyed by all. Amidst all of the moving, deployments, and uncertainty, my family will always be able to rely on our family values, including health, to maintain happiness.
During my pregnancy, I went go to the gym everyday after work. I continued to visit the gym until I was 37 weeks pregnant. I refused to be a lazy pregnant woman! After giving birth to my baby girl, I refused to use my pregnancy as an excuse for my out-of-shape-body. I relied on the Postnatal Bootcamp to help wisk away the pregnancy weight. As soon as this was done, the Shed 5 Fast workout plan aided in toning my muscles. It helped me to truly regain my pre-pregnancy body shape and health. Fitting into my “skinny” jeans was just an added bonus! Since starting the S5F DVD, not only did I drop the 5 pounds, but I have dropped below my pre-pregnancy weight. My target goal weight (my weight when I got married) is now very close within reach!
Being healthy and feeling great have truly aided me in enjoying my new mom experience. It is much easier to be happy on a daily basis when I look and feel like a million bucks! The best reward is to be healthy for my baby girl and my family. Thank you, Lindsay Brin, for helping me to find the motivation and determination to feel healthy and be able to pass on these ideals to my family!
